A decent addition to the excellent Grim Facade series, but not as good as some of the others. The cut scenes played very slowly in places and game crashed twice but I didnt lose any progress…I would also have liked to have been able to enter a name, rather than being stuck with "Player". That being said, I still enjoyed the game :-)
Oh, one of the better ones out there! I loved the games, some were a super challenge, which is what I like to keep my mind sharp. I find most BigFish games do that for me. This was such a delight to enjoy and those graphics were so wonderful, the detail of all of them is top notch. The only part of the game I didnt like was when it said i was finished, Im like, "NNNOOOOO Im not ready yet."

Nice and long. Bonus game also quite long. I think my only complaint was that the map showed where there was still work to do, but didnt indicate where there was something active you could do now.
Some bad moments
Fun game but one of the searches doesnt let you click the object. It highlights but doesnt "collect" it. Had to uninstall :(

This game played great on my iPad mini 2 which is so slow, but the game did not play slow at all.
I love spooky games and this delivered.
You can customize the time length for how long you want the hint feature to reset and I LOVE THIS!

Love this series (each plays as a stand alone) and ERS has done a fabulous job on this one! Artwork is detailed and extremely well drawn, gameplay is smooth and logical, custom difficulty and transporting indicated map, labeled inventory, masks to collect in every scene (some hidden behind things) and coins to collect. Really scruffy looking alley cat who has his eye on you and a villain knocking off seemingly upstanding citizens. Vermin alert: there is one in the opening cut scene briefly and Mr Jinx a rat is a character you must interact with fairly early in the game. No left hand mode or diary but not really needed. Has some bloody images but no in your face violence so far. Verdict: buy and enjoy!
Warning: There is a rat, Mr. Jinx, for those with phobias; you cant ignore him because he will retrieve an object for you. A masked avenger is kidnapping people and creating chaos in the town of Coldstone. You play a detective who is hired to find the kidnapped wife of an official; you come across a Blacklist of the names of prospective victims sought out by this avenger. This latest installment is not for the faint of heart - blood and gore galore! The graphics are beautiful, crisp, and clear; the artwork is aesthetically pleasing to the eye with richly detailed and intricately drawn scenes to create a realistic portrayal of the environment. I love to traverse around older style towns while being pursued by a ghastly hooded figure. I guess thats the horror buff in me! You get to use a device that scans the scenes to find memory fragments; you will gain parts of the story at times. I like how the game incorporates your name on the headstone during the question/answer game with the cat. There are several modes of difficulty including the option to customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The teleport map in custom mode only indicates unfinished tasks; not sure yet how beneficial it will be because I feel on my own a bit. Transition between scenes is fairly smooth and quick. The HOS are varied and fun; some types are to find the quantities of an item, put items into the scene, and find the silhouette shapes. The puzzles are also varied and give an option to choose your difficulty on some. One type is to move tiles to form one color motifs in each bar; another is to rotate dove tiles into the center. You are collecting different types of creepy masks in the locations; they are out front and easy to spot. You also collect coins to purchase items to help you progress in the game. There is no journal, but you obtain many pages of info as you traverse around. There is no back button as well. The extras are nothing special - the usual standard offerings. I was torn between four or five stars, but I am enjoying the story, the graphics, and a glitch free game. So I rewarded it with five stars.
